Annual memberships begin September 1 of each year and expire the following August 31. The SVSBA supports its member bands by providing:
- Required insurance
- A Large Music Library
- Free non-profit status
- Free bookkeeping and banking
- Financial assistance for young artists
- Newsletter to individual SVSBA members
- Subsidies for truck rentals for moving equipment to free-to-the-public concerts
- Arrangements for special bands for celebrations, holidays (Independence Day)
- Stays current with current trends and issues regarding BMI, ASCAP, etc., by membership in the Association of Concert Bands
- Scholarships to needy students for private lessons
To become an SVSBA Member, please print out the Dues Notice form. Fill out the appropriate information, make your check payable to "SVSBA", then mail the completed form and Membership Dues to:
